The 100-year-old Highgarden Estate is perched atop the eastern escarpment of Tamborine Mountain, offering rare and unparalleled views from Stradbroke Island to Byron Bay. The 25-acre property combines rainforests, manicured gardens, avocado orchards, and open lawns to create a truly unique setting.

The story of Highgarden Estate has seen many evolutions since its establishment in the early 1900’s. From its earliest days as a dairy farm it has produced fruit and nut orchards, housed an Arab horse stud and been the site of the first medical practice on Tamborine Mountain. Throughout its time the estate has played host to thousands of people who have walked through the open gardens and enjoyed concerts, weddings and many other events. But most importantly, it has been a warm family home to generations of owners. Each layer has added to the rich history of the property.

The current custodians, Ian and Samantha Youngman, wish to continue the legacy of making the gardens and views accessible to others to enjoy by creating unique experiences and events that bring people together with nature in an awe-inspiring environment.
